World Petroleum Council - Partnering the United Nations Global Compact

The WPC is partnering the UNGC to promote the UNGC principles, which are also the aims and principles of the WPC. The first meting was held in Malaysia and the second was held in December 2007 in India

WPC DVD Historical Archive, Proceedings 1933 - 2002 and NOW the 2005 proceedings can be purchased here as well . We have just completed a major project
for digitising the whole of the WPC Historical archive. Every paper ever presented from 1933 to Rio in 2002 has been compressed onto a single DVD. All the technical content from Congress Number 1 in 1933 to the Rio Congress (17) in 2002. Fully searchable, over 50,000 pages, containing (and recognising) over half a million words. The WPC - Neutral, Apolitical and Unbiased for 75 years

In 2008 the WPC will celebrate its 75th birthday. The WPC started its life in 1933. It provides a forum for discussing the issues facing the oil industry on a worldwide basis and is strictly apolitical. The WPC is dedicated to the application of scientific advances in the oil and gas industries, to technology transfer and to the use of the world's petroleum resources for the benefit of mankind

World Petroleum Exhibition (WPE)

The WPE will be held alongside the 19th WPC in Madrid. The exhibition centre is unmatched in Spain and of the best European standard. The venue has over 150,000 m2 of space to organize trade shows, exhibitions and Congresses. We will be using Halls 5, 7 and 9 for the World Petroleum Exhibition (WPE)
