Additional Notes

Council meeting 2005 – The Council approved new positions of Past President and Past Senior Vice President. These posts will not have any formal involvement in the day to day running of WPC but can be called upon for advice and will be invited to attend Council meetings. Those involved will keep the position for a maximum of two cycles

Council meeting 2006 - The Council established a World Petroleum Council Legacy Fund to support the global goals and objectives of the WPC and its member countries.

Council Meeting 2006 – The Council approved the formation of a WPC Youth Committee.

Council Meeting 2006 – The Council approved the formation of the World Petroleum Exhibition. This will be added to future MOUs as the official WPC Exhibition.
