The World Petroleum Council is organising its first WPC Regional Meeting for Latin America in Cartagena, Colombia from the 22-25 June 2010. Hosted by the WPC National Committee of Colombia the meeting combines the IV Colombian Oil and Gas Investment Conference with a regional forum on Latin American Solutions for Global Energy Challenges by the WPC. A special networking meeting for all the regional WPC National Committees will be held on Thursday, 24th June, at the same venue for WPC members, potential new member countries, regional associations of petroleum and natural gas companies in Latin America and the Caribbean: ARPEL, Petroleum Institutes, etc. Presentations will include an overview of WPC activities and an updated report the preparation of the 20th World Petroleum Congress in Qatar in 2011.
