FIRST appointed as Official Publisher for the 2016 WPC Yearbook 'Leading through Change' and 2016 WPC Young Professionals Magazine 'The Game Changers'
The World Petroleum Council appointed the London-based publisher FIRST to produce the World Petroleum Councils 2016 Yearbook which will be launched in December at the WPC Annual Council Meeting in Bahrain.
Through contributions by key policy makers, business leaders, academics and experts the Yearbook provides a valuable and insightful source of industry information to the 70 member countries of the World Petroleum Council as well as to stakeholders in the oil and gas industry.
'FIRST have worked closely with the WPC for many years now and we are pleased to appoint this award-winning specialist publisher to deliver a high quality Yearbook which will focus on the pertinent issues currently faced by the global oil and gas sector', said the Director General of the World Petroleum Council, Dr Pierce Riemer.
The 2016 WPC Young Professionals Magazine was launched in October during the 'WPC Future Leaders Forum' in Rio de Jainero, Brazil. The 'Future Leaders Forum' was held alongside the 2016 Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference, the leading oil and gas industry event in Latin America. Content for this year's edition was developed by young professionals who formed an editorial team led by Hasnaa Lamik the WPC YP Committee member for Morocco.
