Recognising the importance of involving more young people in the oil and gas sector, the World Petroleum Council WPC organises a number of events focusing on young people and their role in the oil and gas industry, including the WPC Youth Forum which is held every 3 years.
The 7th edition of the WPC Youth Forum was recently held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from September 29 to October 2, 2022 attracting 700 delegates and 112 speakers from 29 countries.
The theme for the 7th edition covered 'Energy Transition: Dialogue of Generations' with an international programme developed by 15 of our Young Professional Committee members from 13 countries.
